Continuing Discussion... Interfaith Conference on Childhood Hunger

Start: Wednesday, November 18, 201510:00 AM

How might our thousands of congregations, the family of faith - especially the family of faith - have our pantries, collections, back packs, community meals, and a myriad of other ways be coordinated with others for the feeding of children in the classroom, on weekends, and during the summer?

On Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waynesboro 30 representatives of major denominations and organizations joined in conversation and began planning actions to help feed some of our most vulnerable children. Our next meeting to continue the discussion is scheduled for November 18th.Register to get on our distribution list for this next event.

The purpose of these events is to gather faith leaders from across our state to discuss how we can join forces to fight childhood hunger.
