We invite you to celebrate creativity in all it’s glory with SIM! We are hosting our first ever Creative Expression Gallery Night on September 4, at 6 PM at Zumix (260 Sumner St., Boston, 02128). This will be a space for the community to see what ideas young people in our community are passionate about, and also a place for young people to express these ideas in a more artistic and creative way. On top of all this, since this will be one of SIM’s first in-person event after a while, this will also be an opportunity for community members, friends, and family to learn about what SIM’s youth leaders have done for the past year, what we are currently working on, and to celebrate all the hard work the young people in our community have done to change our world for the better!

In addition to their art pieces, each artist will create a piece that reflects the theme of this year’s Creative Expression Night! “What is the theme?” you may ask. Well, the theme will be revealed on August 20th on SIM’s social media platforms! What do you think it is? Here’s a one word hint: Change.

Join us on September 4, 2021 to be a part of an event that truly showcases what we are all about: Empowering people in our community to talk and fight for issues that matter to them!

We have a limited space for 20 community members, so sign up if you would like to join and celebrate our youth and their creativity. This is a first-come first-serve basis so be sure to claim your spot!

Important Health and Safety Information:

Since we are holding this event at the Zumix firehouse, an enclosed indoor space, there are certain health and safety protocols we must follow to comply with CDC Guidelines. Please be aware of the following:

• Masks are to be worn at all times indoors, unless eating or speaking on stage

• Please practice social distancing when possible

• There will be separate entrance and exit doors for the night
