WE CALL DC to be ON STRIKE this May 1st
to defend our city and build a collective message that says:
"We will not stand for further violence against our communities in DC."

12:30PM Begin March down 16th, then 14th street
3:00 PM Rally in Freedom Plaza
4:00 PM March to join regional & national partners in Lafayette Square
We will march down 16th Street and stop to converge with allies from the Industrial Workers of the World and the DC March on May Day at Malcolm X Park. Continuing south, we will turn east on U St and then south on 14th St. towards Freedom Plaza to meet our DC-wide partners from West and East of the River.
Demonstrations will be held throughout our city by varied DC on STRIKE community-based groups comprised of/organizing with communities under attack (immigrant, Muslims, LGBTQ, Black, Poor) as we come together under a collective Expanded #SanctuaryDC banner.
