Please join the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence for an Holiday Open House!

Over the past year, the Coalition has expanded, welcoming new staff members and moving into a redesigned office space. On Friday, December 1^st we invite our community partners to join us in enjoying some refreshments, visiting with new colleagues, and helping us warm our new office!

This event will also highlight several of our ongoing community initiatives. We will be unveiling a new mural, the culmination of our partnership with The Sanctuaries to harness the power of the arts for survivor and community storytelling. The mural will welcome people into our offices and serve as a visual testament to DCCADV’s collaborative spirit and enduring commitment to end violence against women and girls.

This event will also kick off our annual holiday gift drive, Spread Cheer DC. For families experiencing domestic violence, the holidays can be especially challenging - many survivors are living with their children in temporary emergency shelter or housing without the resources to give gifts or presents. Through Spread Cheer DC, you can help brighten the holidays for survivors and their families by donating gifts and toys to families in shelter. Bring a new, unwrapped toy (or toys!) with you to the event to help us spread cheer in our community!
