Defend our Democracy Activist Training

Start: Saturday, June 16, 2018 9:00 AM

End: Saturday, June 16, 2018 1:00 PM

The 2018 primary and general elections are quickly approaching. Are you ready to get out the vote, draw attention to the money flowing into our elections, and improve our democracy?

Join Colorado Common Cause and partners for a Defend our Democracy Activist Training on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 9 AM - 1 PM at The Alliance Center in downtown Denver. Activists will learn:

  • How to "follow the money" in Colorado elections to see who is trying to influence your vote
  • Best practices for getting Coloradans to register to vote and cast a ballot
  • How to talk about complex policy issues - and inspire people to take action
  • Important questions on the ballot this November
  • Other ongoing democracy initiatives taking place around the state

The workshop will begin at 9 AM and end at 1 PM. This event is FREE and lunch will be provided - however, space is limited and registration is required. Live streaming will be available for individuals outside of the Denver metro area.

RSVP TODAY! Questions? Contact Caroline (Advocacy & Media Manager at Colorado Common Cause) at cfry@commoncause.org.

Please note that this is a nonpartisan workshop. Common Cause does not support or endorse candidates, and no candidates will be discussed.
