Victory! The Illinois legislature has voted to end money bond by passing the Pretrial Fairness Act, a part of the historic criminal justice omnibus bill proposed by the Legislative Black Caucus. Join the Illinois Network for Pretrial Justice and the Coalition to End Money Bond on Thursday, February 4th from 6pm-7:30pm to learn about how the Pretrial Fairness Act will transform our state’s pretrial justice system and protect the right to pretrial freedom.
