The phrase "Defund the Police" has been circulating across the country for the past few months now. Though it calls attention to an important issue in the United States, it brings up many questions as well... What does "Defund the Police" mean? How might this work? What is the history of the police? What does their budget look like? etc.

If you want to learn more about the origins of our current police system and how we can begin to dismantle it, join us for a 2-part workshop discussing what "Defund the Police" means and how it might be implemented.
