Delaware and 100% Clean Electricity: What the American Jobs Plan Will Mean for our State, with Senators Coons and Carper and Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester

Start: Friday, July 23, 2021 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada) (GMT-04:00)

Right now Congress has the opportunity to pass The American Jobs Plan, an equitable blueprint to build the US economy from the bottom up and middle out. An essential and indispensable part of this plan is a commitment to 100% clean electricity by 2035 and trillions of investments into reducing pollution throughout the economy.

In addition to both Senators from Delaware, we will be joined by Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, Sherri Evans-Stanton with Delaware Sierra Club, Saleem Ali with University of Delaware, Marty Hopkins with CCL, Suzanne Sebastian with Energize Delaware, and Shweta Arya with Delaware IPL.

Please RSVP to attend on Friday July 23rd at 5:00 to hear from Senator Coons, Senator Carper, and Congresswoman Blunt Rochester, our entire Congressional delegation, about what this plan will mean for Delaware, and why it is so important we get it passed in Congress.

It will be 5 on a Friday, so grab a drink if you want one, and RSVP to join this intimate conversation with our Congressional leaders to feel inspired about the future of our state.

Event Co-sponsored by CCAN Action Fund and the Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club.
