This Sunday, Indivisible Pittsburgh and a coalition of grassroots partners, including, Mondays with(OUT) McCormick, Progress PA, Partners for Progress SWPA, 1Hood Power, Steel City Stonewall Democrats, Bend the Arc Jewish Action Pittsburgh, and other community partners will host a peaceful Demonstration for Democracy, lifting up the voices of those harmed by the ongoing illegal dismantling of the federal government.

Since January 20, we are seeing unprecedented attacks on science, immigrants, Black people, brown people, foreign aid, veterans, farmers, the LGBTQ+ community, working people, women, and the environment. We see attacks on the federal government and the Constitution itself, including on birthright citizenship and the validity of the Courts. We see the immediate harm that these attacks are doing to our neighbors who have lost their jobs. These attacks are being carried out illegally by billionaires and their lackeys and facilitated by a Republican Congress which refuses to assert its constitutional powers.
We join together to say we will not tolerate these attacks on our freedoms, our Constitution, and our neighbors.
