The Basic Income March will rally on the west steps of the Capitol Building. If we have a large enough crowd, we will march north on Lincoln St, west along Colfax Ave to Bannock St, then turn south back to 14th Ave, head east along 14th Ave, and then return to the west steps of the Capitol Building.

The rally on the west steps of the Capitol Building will have a fun and celebratory vibe. This event will highlight the fantastic work being done by The Denver Basic Income Pilot along with highlighting important community member stories and people working across sectors. Attendees can enjoy speakers, informational tables, music and being in community with other basic income supporters. This is a chance not only to learn about the things happening in Denver but to come together to chart our efforts for the next year.

The Capitol Building is near Civic Center Plaza and several bus stops. Lincoln & Colfax is accessible via the 6, 15, 15L, and 16 bus lines. Broadway & Colfax is accessible via the 0, 6, 9, 10, 15, 15L, 16, and 52 bus lines. Civic Center Plaza is serviced by the 8, 19, 48, 83D, and 83L bus lines. Connections to Civic Center Plaza from the 16th St and Union Station light rail stops can be made through the Free Mall Ride. The 16th St light rail stop is serviced by the D, H, L and F lines, and Union Station is serviced by the W, C, E, A, B, G, and N lines.
