The Metro Detroit AFL-CIO is hosting the annual Labor Day Solidarity Walk on Monday, September 7. The route starts by the Old Tiger Stadium and goes down Michigan Ave. towards Washington Street.

There will be food trucks near the old stadium, and handouts for kids along the route. After the march, we will gather to celebrate with food, ice cream, activities for kids, and a short program.

Labor Fest will take place from 9:30am - 1:00pm at the UAW-Ford Program Center, 151 W. Jefferson, Detroit.

Everyone is welcome, and the events are free.
