The movement to stop Enbridge's Line 3 in so called northern MN has been taking escalated action since pipeline construction began in late 2020. In response, protest, prayer and direct action have been happening at/near construction sites. Indigenous organizers on Mdewakanton, Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, and Sisseton lands have issued a clear call for us to show up to help stop the construction of Line 3.

This training is in solidarity with Indigenous-led water protectors fighting the Line 3 pipeline.

Our goal with this training is to introduce people to non-violent direct action, learn about past direct action, and learn about direct action planning. We will focus on how you can support efforts to stop Line 3 by engaging in direct action and creative protest in your hometown and on the frontlines of Minnesota. We will include some information about going to Minnesota with an affinity group or supporting in other ways.
