Dirty Deely Coal Plant Shutdown Celebration!

Start: Saturday, December 15, 2018 4:00 PM

End: Saturday, December 15, 2018 7:00 PM

Join us to celebrate the closure of San Antonio's oldest, dirtiest coal plant and the amazing community leaders who were critical in achieving this victory.

All of us in the Climate Action SA coalition are thrilled to celebrate the shutdown of the J.T. Deely coal-fired power plant.

We’ll have live music, food, drink and lots of good company. Come ready to make merry with the sounds of The Indigenauts and Los Nahuatlatos!

This is an important step in our fight to achieve climate justice and improve air quality in San Antonio.

We still have a lot of work to do — including securing a shutdown date for CPS Energy’s Spruce coal-fired power plant — but it’s important to celebrate the progress we have made.

This party is kid-friendly, free and open to everyone. Come celebrate with us!

There will be complimentary parking, but we encourage you to take the bus.
