The Department of Juvenile Justice Task Force on Juvenile Correctional Centers is holding its next meeting on Aug. 23rd at 9AM at the Patrick Henry Building in Richmond, Va. The Task Force has released its interim report with recommendations to build a new juvenile facility in Chesapeake, Va., and will be discussing this report at the meeting. We're asking our network to come out to this meeting--there has been opportunity for public comment during previous meetings, and we want to make sure youth, families, and communities impacted by the juvenile justice system have an opportunity to be heard.
