Following an energizing first spokes council, Resist This is organizing a second spokes council for DC-area organizations and affinity groups on April 22 at 5:30 pm to 8 pm at First Congregational UCC, 945 G Street NW.

From 5:30 to 6, there will be an orientation to the spokes council model for anyone who is coming to the spokes council for the first time or anyone who would like a refresher on the process. The spokes council will begin at 6 pm and end before 8 pm. Please see the full agenda here.

We’ll use this space to continue to coordinate for upcoming actions or other events, and we’ll be incorporating the feedback we received after the March Spokes Council. It’s important that we come together to defend our communities in the time of Trump, to build connections and capacity for the long haul struggle, and to lift each other up.

We had many new clusters at the first spokes council in March, and we’re hoping to see participation continue to grow on April 22.
