DSA goes to Ithaca Unions Unite Press Conference

Currently, seven unions across Ithaca are engaged in contract negotiations: Ithaca Teachers’
Association (ITA), Ithaca Education Support Professionals (ESP/I) Cornell Graduate Students
United (CGSU-UE), Bangs Ambulance (BAWU), Greenstar Workers’ United (GWU), Tompkins
County Public Library Workers (UAW 2300), Tompkins County Area Transit drivers (UAW 2300).
There will be a press conference on Wednesday, March 19th at 6pm ET at Southside
Community Center. Representatives from all seven unions will give statements regarding the
state of negotiations and the stakes for their members.
