Democratic Socialists of America is organizing local chapters, labor unions & environmental justice coalitions to build green projects & expand public services for a Green New Deal.
We're excited to announce that the Green New Deal Campaign Commission is launching our new campaign, Building For Power, an initiative to support chapter campaigns that build relationships with labor and a working-class base, and are impactful enough to begin to tackle the global nature of capitalism-driven climate change. These campaigns have 4 key areas:
Expand Public Transit
Proliferate Public Power
Build Green Social Housing
& Grow Green Public Space
