David Griscom is a leftist Texan and a writer, producer, commentator, and pundit on the show LEFT RECKONING, which he created with his co-host Matt Lech. Previously, David was a co-host on THE MICHAEL BROOKS SHOW (TMBS) where he specialized in inequality and socialist economics rooted in international struggle against the capitalist class.

David’s current work focuses on building a strong, popular, working class-rooted socialist left movement. His political perspective is grounded in historical analysis and theory but remains accessible. By defining a strategy for winning material gains for working people, David aims to increase class consciousness particularly throughout the US South and West.

In this special presentation hosted by DSA North Texas’ Political Education Committee, David will examine the situation for the post-Bernie left. Where should we be looking to build? What are our obstacles and what can we do to make gains in these areas? How can we create a shift in dynamics at a time when so many people feel powerless, and what is Texas’ unique role in this?

We welcome all DSA North Texas members and non-members alike to join us Saturday, October 30 at 2PM Central on Zoom. There will be a 45 minute presentation followed by another 45 minutes for Q&A. We hope to see you there!
