DSA Union Update on the State of DSA: How did we get here, where are we going?

Join the DSA Union for a presentation and member Q/A on the state of DSA and where we stand in negotiations with the NPC. We believe DSA members deserve all the information around DSA’s financial health and our Union’s concerns over how the proposed layoffs have been handled. It’s imperative that we preserve good working conditions and dignity for the workers who empower DSA members every day to continue making history. Our working conditions are your organizing conditions!

From day one our Union has sought to bring members into this process, to provide transparency and accountability towards decisions that will have significant ramifications for your work! We believe you deserve that much. DSA staff are not a political faction. Our resources belong to every single member of DSA regardless of their political tendency. So regardless of your perspective, we hope this call will serve as a space for you to hear directly from us about our current fight for a fair bargaining process, our rights as workers, and to get your questions answered.

We are committed to making DSA bigger, not smaller. It’s going to take all of us working together to build DSA into the mass organization we need to liberate working people.
