Changing the Narrative is thrilled to present this special Colorado screening of Duty Free film, a powerful documentary about ageism, a son's love for his mother, and more!
After his 75-year-old immigrant mother gets fired from her job, television reporter and storyteller Sian-Pierre Regis takes her on an adventure to help reclaim her life. As she struggles to find work, he documents a journey that uncovers the betrayals plaguing her past and the economic insecurity shaping not only her future, but that of an entire generation.
Join us on February 13 from 10 a.m to Noon MT, where we will watch the movie together, followed by a discussion and question and answer session with Sian-Pierre and his mother, Rebecca Danigelis.
This is a perfect movie for Valentine's Day weekend. So register, invite a friend, and have your popcorn—and your tissues—ready!
