Each Monday during the 40 Days of Nonviolent Moral Fusion Direct Action (May 13th - June 23rd) the Florida Poor People's Campaign will host a Pre-Action Training and Gathering. This training is required If you are interested in engaging in nonviolent civil disobedience with the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival.

On May 14th, we will not be engaging in nonviolent civil disobedience. On Monday May 14th, the Pre-Action Training and Gathering is not required.

You are still highly encourage to attend the Monday morning training and gathering. This is an excellent opportunity get more involved with the campaign and to build relationships with others who have bravely answered the call to join this historic movement.

The training will last from 9:30-12:00 as we share:

• Our vision of nonviolence and why it is important
• Education about the campaign, including its goals, strategies, and tactics
• Discussion of next steps for people willing to participate more deeply in the 40 days of nonviolent moral fusion direct action
• Fellowship and consciousness raising
