District 39, which includes West Bloomfield and other parts of Oakland County, Michigan, is a critical flip for Democrats to gain control of the state house. Julia supports universal healthcare, unions, and civil rights for women, immigrants and the LGBTQ community. As a representative, she wants to fight for clean water, education and gun reform, among other issues.
