Since 2019, we’ve been bringing over 150+ students, allies, educators, and other community leaders from all over Arizona each year on Education Day to meet with our legislatures and talk about the lack of in-state tuition for Dreamers and the barriers they face. Setting up the groundwork for Prop. 308.

Our impact at the capitol led to the Arizona legislature allowing Arizona voters to decide in the 2022 elections whether Dreamers should qualify for in-state tuition (Prop. 308). We launched our campaign to educate Arizona voters about Prop. 308, everything we’ve been working towards led up to this moment.

In November of 2022, Arizona voters approved Prop. 308! With our Prop. 308 victory, where do we go from here?

This year we will be talking to legislators on multiple issues that are important to the community including driver’s licenses, repealing english-only, and securing funding for the college promise programs, amongst others. You will be trained on speaking to legislators and get to talk to legislators on what issues matter to you.

The choice is ours, we have the collective power to set the groundwork for our next victory. Are you in?

Join us for Education Day 2023 on February 15!

We invite students, educators, and allies from across the valley to join us at the Arizona Capitol for Education Day to educate our elected officials on what policies matter most to you.

We will start the day at Brophy College Preparatory at 8am and then head over to the AZ Capitol as a group. If you wish to attend, you must commit to stay with us through the entirety of the event.
