New Jersey Sierra Club Director, Anjuli Ramos, and former Sierra Club Director, Jeff Tittel are uniting forces to explain the ins and outs of the proposed PACT (Protecting Against Climate Threats) Rules and how they are a missed opportunity to truly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in New Jersey and stir away from new fossil fuel infrastructure.

In order for NJ to achieve Governor Murphy’s climate goals of 50% reduction of greenhouse gases by 2030 and 80% reduction by 2050, these rules need to be tightened up and include concrete and enforceable requirements to do it.

NJDEP will have public hearings where we can all express our concerns. The closest one coming up is February the 1st, and the deadline to sign up to testify in it is January the 28th.
