Elementary Mentor Teacher Training

Apply to take The LDOE Elementary Mentor Teacher training facilitated by The Teaching and Learning Center! The sessions will be Sept. 16-17, Oct. 15-16, Nov. 4, Jan. 21-22, and Feb. 17-18. Attendance of all sessions and completion of the 6 micro-credential assessments are required to complete the course and receive 40% of your educational leadership credentials. You have the opportunity to make a difference with new teachers and increase your career opportunities!
Cost: tuition $300; discounted price of $150 for LAE members (note: LAE membership is not required to take the course); lunch $15 per day.
Assessment fee: $175
Required documents: 1) Memorandum of understanding, 2) principal permission form, 3) Teacher certification, 4) evidence (recommendation letter) of ability to complete professional responsibilities and develop positive relationships with peers (does not have to be in the same letter), 5) evidence of high quality instruction.
