From 15-17 September, millions of people around the world will take to the streets to take action for the climate and demand an end to planet-wrecking fossil fuels. Please join Divest Strathclyde on Friday 15th September at 6pm for a fun singing and art workshop and a chance to learn more about how you can get involved with the Global Fight to End Fossil Fuels!

The climate crisis is escalating and so is the global movement for climate justice. Across the world, we are coming together to fight back against the fossil fuel industry and to call on institutions, including the Strathclyde Pension Fund in Glasgow, to stop funding climate-wrecking fossil fuels.

We're delighted to be joined by Jane Lewis who has over 20 years experience of leading inclusive radical singing workshops and in bringing song to a wide range of environmental, peace and human rights events including blockades, vigils and marches.

We'll learn harmony songs that can be sung at climate actions, including at the 'End fossil fuels' mobilisation and march in Edinburgh on Saturday 16th September.

We'll also create some climate-themed art works for the Edinburgh march and for other events.

All welcome - no previous singing or art experience needed.
