Please join Mayor McNamara for this opportunity to hear from Terra about the critical issues facing San Diego County!

Terra Lawson-Remer is an economist and environmental attorney who served as Senior Advisor in the Obama Administration, developing environmental policies to cut pollution from oil drilling and mining.

Terra has a lifelong track-record of fighting for economic opportunity and a healthy environment.

A native San Diegan, she organized “Flip the 49th” after the 2016 election to help take-back Congress locally.

Terra began her career working for the San Diego City Council, started a national organization to protect communities from big banks, and organized for the United Farmworkers.

After graduating with a law degree and Ph.D. from Yale and NYU, she worked with the United Nations and World Bank advancing environmental sustainability, climate finance, and a fair economy.

Today, Terra teaches public policy at UCSD.

Terra Lawson-Remer has the proven experience our County needs. She will lead the fight to safeguard our beaches and coastlines, end sprawl development, address our affordable housing crisis, combat climate change, and protect our most vulnerable from the Trump Administration.

Democrats for Environmental Action, San Diego Progressive Democrats, San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council (AFL-CIO), Senate President Toni Atkins, Congressmember Juan Vargas, former State Senators Chris Kehoe and Dede Alpert, and United Farmworkers co-founder Dolores Huerta and Mayor McNamara endorse Terra Lawson-Remer.

Terra cannot wait to meet you! Join us to talk about how we can work together to tackle the issues facing our community.
