Interested in organizing your workplace but don't know where to start? Join EWOC for our in-person organizer training.

In two sessions held over two Saturdays, you will be introduced to the fundamental principles of effective shop-floor organizing. This link is for the first session on June 10th, starting at 10 am.

Part 1: The Organizing Committee and The Organizing Conversation

In each session, you'll hear from workers who've successfully organized with EWOC and then our facilitators will lead us into breakout discussions in which you'll have the chance to participate, discuss, and build community with other workers. Our trainings are all about leading with the experiences of workers and creating a space where everyone feels welcome and able to ask any question or propose a new idea. Food and drinks will also be provided.

Here in the city, EWOC has supported workers to organize successful campaigns at Trader Joe’s, Vital Climbing Gym, REI, coffee shops, online therapists, retail stores, and more, offering on-the-ground support and guidance for hundreds of workers in multiple industries. We support workers as they learn to organize their coworkers and build collective solidarity, and one of the best ways we do this is through our organizer training series. We hope to see you there!
