Are you feeling the weight of the climate crisis? Do you want to do something about it but don’t know how? Extinction Rebellion is a global environmental movement with the stated aim of using non-violent civil disobedience to compel government into climate action.
Come on out to meet organizers in the movement and hear the compelling case for action during our “Heading for Extinction and What To Do About It” talk. You can also enjoy a specialty Extinction Rebellion Cocktail and a complimentary snack, hear music and poetry from members of XR, meet new friends, and do your part to de-carbonize by signing up with Sunshare Community Solar!
Please RSVP so we know how much food to bring, and make sure you bring a friend as well! This will be a fun and memorable introduction into XR!

Cash bar, no full food service. Vegan/gluten option tacos will be served in the gifted snack buffet.

The event is upstairs in the dance hall, elevator access available through the main entrance, and that there is a side door entrance directly to the dance hall on the corner of 22nd and California st. Free parking in lot beside Merc after 5pm.
Also, that we will have a cash bar (where food/drink can be ordered/gift certificates redeemed ) upstairs but we will not have a full food service staff. Vegan gluten-optional (corn/flour) tacos will be served in the gifted snack buffet.
