Faces of Advocacy, Provo

Start: Tuesday, October 15, 2019 6:30 PM

End: Tuesday, October 15, 2019 8:00 PM

Showcasing the personal stories of a variety of advocates at work in our community, Faces of Advocacy celebrates advocacy and the many ways community members can get involved in making a difference on the issues they care about. This workshop is an opportunity to learn about meaningful ways to advocate. No natter your political persuasion or personal talents, there is room for all of us to express what we feel is most important.

Join Action Utah for a panel discussion on what advocacy can look like through the stories of a variety of intriguing community advocates talking about what they are doing in their lives to make a difference, why those causes mattered to them and how they started taking action.

Celebrate advocacy successes, network with other interested community members, and come away with next steps for civic engagement!

Details: This event will be held in the Bullock Room of the Provo City Library.

Action Utah is a nonpartisan community advocacy organization empowering Utahns from both sides of the aisle to get civically engaged to impact the issues they care about most.
