Family Prosperity Community Film Screening

Start: Friday, September 22, 2023 6:00 PM

End: Friday, September 22, 2023 9:00 PM

The Family Prosperity team is honored to invite you to our first community film screening! We are joining a national movement as organizations across the nation work together to build awareness of the power of cash support (or GBI) programs for the 5th Annual Basic Income Day-of-Action. A free dinner and screening of the film "Inherent Good" will be shown at the NM Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. The film examines cash support through diverse stories of perseverance from heartland Americans and firsthand accounts from participants in a groundbreaking basic income pilot program launched in Jackson, MS for Black mothers living in poverty.

After the dinner and a movie, we will host a Q&A panel which will include Inherent Good film director Steve Borst, Mayor Pro-Tem Kasandra Gandara, City Councilor Johana Bencomo, Family Prosperity recipient and members of the Family Prosperity team. We are excited for you to join us for a powerful night of empowering families in Doña Ana County as we move toward achieving financial stability through direct cash support.  Please remember to RSVP using the link below or QR code on the flyer.
