In response to the US supported war and famine in Yemen e now invite you to consider joining us for a liquids only fast, for approximately two weeks, during which participants will fast and vigil for one week in New York City, from Saturday, December 29 until January 5, 2019. The following week, January 6 13, the fast will move to join the Washington D.C. Witness Against Torture fast which has already decided to focus on torture in Yemen as well as Guantanamo.

The first week will begin and end at the regular New York Saturday morning vigil from 11:00 a.m. - noon, which will most likely happen in Union Square. On weekdays the fast will hold a public presence, gathering at 11:00 a.m. each day at the Isaiah Wall at 1st Ave. & 43rd St. From the Isaiah Wall, we will process to various Missions to the UN, the Saudi Consulate, and corporate offices of weapon manufacturers.

For those who might consider joining us in New York City, we are confident we can again arrange housing, but we will need to learn about potential participation as soon as possible.
