Ferry to Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge for Clean-up

Start: Friday, April 22, 2016 9:30 AM

Join the Center for Biological Diversity as we celebrate our public lands in Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge in Tampa Bay. Accessible only by boat, Egmont Key is a secluded island paradise and home to gopher tortoises, box turtles, and lots of shorebirds. The event will include a ride on the Egmont Key ferry, a coastal clean-up, and a short tour of the island. We also encourage you to pack a lunch so we can enjoy a picnic together. This event costs $20 per person to cover the ferry ride. If you would like to join us for the special opportunity, please RSVP to Jaclyn Lopez at jlopez@biologicaldiversity.org by April 19, 2016.
