Can you join us on Monday, February 4th for the #FREEnewyork Lobby Day? We are heading up to Albany to demand that New York State decarcerate jails and overhaul bail and discovery laws! With creative direct actions, speakouts, and meetings with legislators, we are set for an exciting and powerful day. Here is how the day will go:

6:30 AM Arrive at NYC Bus


7 AM Bus Departs NYC

  • Union Square

  • Carpooling from: LI, Westchester, Hudson Valley


10 AM Arrive in Albany

  • Check in

  • Prep

  • Breakfast/snacks

  • McDonalds backroom?


11 AM Press Conference

  • Run of Show

  • Speakers

    • Emcees:

    • NYCC, VOCAL, JLUSA speakers

    • Elected speakers

      • Gianaris, Bailey, Lentol, O’Donnell?

  • Visuals and signs

  • Social Media/photos


12 - 3:30 PM Lobby Visits

  • Groups take lunch as room in their schedule

  • Each team meets with 2-3 electeds


3:30 - 4 PM Speakout/Debrief


4 PM Bus Departs


7 PM Bus Arrives back in NYC
