The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, have scheduled a “Gathering in Solidarity” event to coincide with the Women’s March on Washington, D.C. The various Sisters of Providence selected to speak at the local event will echo the principles of the Washington March, including the belief that women’s rights are human rights and the importance of practicing empathy to build understanding across differences.
