The Annual Meeting includes annual reports, officer candidate statements, a bylaws proposals discussion, and a resolutions discussion. More info follows.

Officer and Delegate Elections

Milwaukee DSA officer positions open for a 2-year term (May 2023 to May 2025) are Co-Chair, Secretary, Outreach Officer, Education Officer, At-Large Officer, and Harassment & Grievance Officer. Officer roles are described here. Nominees will be heard from at the Annual Meeting.

The 2023 DSA National Convention will be held August 4-6, 2023 in Chicago. Milwaukee DSA will send seven delegates to represent our chapter in this national forum.

Voting for chapter officers and convention delegates begins after the May 20 Annual Meeting. Voting closes on June 3 at noon for both the officer and delegate elections.

Bylaws Proposals

The Annual Meeting will include a presentation on bylaws proposals. Please review the proposed updates in advance to prepare for discussion.

Procedural rules are adopted at the meeting. Bylaws updates are discussed at the meeting, with online voting opening afterward in accordance with the procedural rules adopted.
