The monthly General Meeting of the Madison chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is a great place to learn about the chapter, join us in making collective decisions, and get plugged in to our active campaigns and working groups. Our General Membership Meetings occur on the second Tuesday of every month.

This month: as is the recent custom, there will be pizza before the meeting - come half an hour early starting at 6pm for comradely conversation and food. Given the political moment, the biggest chunk of the agenda will be devoted to post-election topics. That includes:

• A general debrief/discussion of the results, and what now;
• What we can learn from the Socialist Party's labor and electoral strategy in Milwaukee around a century ago (there's a reading for this, please take a look! also an abridged version for the TLDR-inclined);
• Thinking about our organizing priorities for the next 6 months.
