Join Urban Environmentalists to give public comment in front of LA's Planning and Land Use Management Committee. Show that you support 790 new homes in the Alhambra!
The Alhambra project consists of 560 new multifamily apartments and 230 new townhomes, of which 158 (20%) will be low-income affordable. It's a short walk from Cal State LA and major bus lines - so it also supports a more earth-friendly, car-light lifestyle.
Public comment will be at the beginning of the hearing, so be sure to arrive on time! We'll distribute signs and talking points to make it easy to step up, and help calm the public speaking butterflies we all have. Demand that the committee fulfill the city's promise to streamline approval of 100% affordable housing!
