Join millions of young people around the world to strike for climate action. We are undergoing a climate emergency, our City Council must act accordingly! If you're a student, participate (or help coordinate) a walkout from your high school. If you're a parent, take this day as an opportunity to stand up for you child's future. We also encourage adults to strike from work to support comprehensive climate action. We will be hosting a rally at Memorial Park for all participants of the climate strike. Here, young leaders and community organizers will speak on the urgency of the climate crisis and the ways environmental injustice manifests in our own community.
