Los Angeles will join over 100 countries on September 27th for a massive Global Strike! We are in the process of planning this action, but will be focusing on the deforestation, land invasions, violation of indigenous territories, and the fires in the Amazon.

Millions around the world are united and determined to save the Earth and all its species

Our General Demands:
- Green New Deal
- Pass 2,500 ft setback between oil extraction sites and homes.
- Zero emissions economy by 2025
- A just transition that centers communities that have been disproportionately impacted by extractive economies, primarily indigenous, black, and brown communities in the U.S. and the global south.

#FridaysForFuture is a movement building power to push for stronger global climate policies. We have a climate emergency and we must act to get society in emergency mode. We need faster transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy so that the Paris agreement of 1.5 degrees C can be possible. School strikes and other actions every Friday until the Paris agreement is on the right track.
