In March of this year the Tampa Bay Times exposed a massive workplace and community toxicity contamination problem at the Gopher Lead Smelting Plant. This meeting marks the launch of a community and worker centered campaign focused on Gopher Factory accountability for lead poisoning exposure in its workers and in the surrounding community. Join directly impacted community leaders as we begin the organizing work to expand a campaign to #GetTheLeadOut and hold Gopher accountable for its actions.
