Boston (Allston) Debate Night Triple Header: GOTV Letters to Texas, Debate Watch Party, and Chili
Start: Thursday, December 19, 2019• 6:00 PM
End: Thursday, December 19, 2019•10:00 PM
6-8 pm Get Out the Vote Letters to Texas Voters for January Election
For years, the GOP has taken control of state legislatures to enact gerrymandered congressional districts that dilute the power of Democratic voters.
House District 28 is in a majority-minority district. Former Congressman Beto O'Rourke came within 3.1% of carrying the district in 2018, which would widen their path to flipping control of the Texas House of Representatives in 2020. By writing letters to voters in House District 28, we can help Democrats win a critical majority in the Texas House.
Join us to write get out the vote letters to likely Democratic voters in Texas House District 28 for the January 28 special runoff election. Learn more about the district and special election here.
*Winning this state legislative seat now helps set the stage for taking back the state legislature in November!*
*We will have vegan chili and probably vegan cornbread on hand to power us through to...*
