Join members and staff of the Daily Kos community to discuss opportunities to make an impact on greater Cincinnati.

We will meet in Cincinnati from 3:30-5:00pm on Saturday, March 4. The social event will include speakers Rachel Colyer, Senior Campaign Director at Daily Kos, David Akadjian, Daily Kos Contributing Editor, Author of The Little book of Revolution, and Josh Nelson, Deputy Political Director at CREDO, long-time member of Daily Kos.

During our 90 minutes together, we will socialize, hear briefly from our speakers, engage in small-group conversations to get to know each other, and make plans for how we can work together in Cincinnati in the coming months.

By bringing together writers, activists, politically aligned community members, and online media experts we have the opportunity to build a powerful network of coordination to affect change in Cincinnati in 2017, 2018, and beyond.

In addition to being social, let's get political. We will be writing postcards to Sen. Brown, Sen. Portman, and any other local politicians that need to hear from you. Then, we will schedule a time to deliver these postcards and meet with the offices.

Please bring ideas, projects, and actions that we could work together on, or just bring yourself and make new friends to attend rallies with, talk to online, and share your love of politics and democracy with a group of dedicated Cincinnatians. We will begin to collaborate to build a robust action, writing, and media network here in Cincinnati to affect local work.

This event is open to all progressive activists. Whether you've been Daily Kos reader for years or are new to activism, we would love to meet you. All you need is a passion to mobilize in these trying times.
