The climate crisis continues to escalate while the world's governments largely fail to meet the moment. Where are we headed? What can we do to change it? This will be an educational event hosted by We Power DC, Metro DC DSA's priority campaign for energy democracy. We'll cover the latest science emerging from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, what it means for our future, and what we can do collectively to fight for just and sustainable futures for all. Then we'll talk about how the global climate crisis connects to our campaign, right here in DC, to secure public control of our energy system.
