Greensboro Field Hearing
Start: Wednesday, June 29, 2016• 6:00 PM
End: Wednesday, June 29, 2016• 8:00 PM
The field hearings will be an opportunity to present and examine postal issues that are important to the public, including mail delivery delays, longer hours at post offices, staffing at retail windows, and protection of six-day and door-to-door delivery.
The field hearings will also explore how the Postal Service can adapt to thrive in the digital age, when people expect to receive information and deliveries even more quickly. Ideas for new services include financial services (postal banking) and access to high-speed Internet service.
The U.S. Postal Service belongs to the American people. Let’s ensure that it remains a vibrant, public Postal Service for generations to come!
