Grief Ceremony for the Aldwell Forest

Start: Sunday, March 10, 202411:00 AM

In March 2023 the Aldwell forest was logged despite the community effort to stop it. Exactly one year later we will gather for a grief ceremony to witness and honor what has been lost by logging and what remains. Together through ritual we will begin to process grief, offer healing to the land, and ground our efforts to protect legacy forests.

Date and Time: Sunday March 10th from 11am - 1 pm

What to bring: Please bring a small material offering like a shell, rock, piece of driftwood, or other small symbolic offering. Offerings like songs, poems or dances are also welcome.
