We see the impact of gun violence on our campuses and in our communities. Freedom to learn should mean access to college without fearing for our lives. But AFT members are too often left with inadequate resources when it comes to supporting students or supporting themselves.

Join the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, the Department of Education, and your fellow AFT Higher Education members for a conversation on gun violence and learn more about real solutions related to crisis response, safe storage, community violence intervention programs, and anti-gun trafficking initiatives. Even if you are not sure what can be done in the face of gun violence this meeting is for you.
