Meet and Greet with the following labor leaders and researchers:

Artur Henrique do Santos:

Artur Henrique da Silva Santos, sociologist and former president of the Sindicato dos Eletricitarios de Campinas (Electric Sector Workers Union of Campinas) from 2003-2009 and of the national labor federation Central Unica dos Trabalhadores (CUT) from 2006- 2012. He also served as the Municipal Secretary of Labor and Development of Sao Paulo during the Haddad administration from 2014-2016, and is currently serving as the Director of Finances for the Fundacao Perseu Abramo (FPA) of the Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT).

Marcio Pochmann:

Dr. Marcio Pochmann is a Professor at the Economics Institute of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). He is the author of more than 60 books on economics, labor, and development policy. He was the Municipal Secretary of Labor and Development of iSão Paulo during the administration of Marta Suplicy (2001-2004). He also served as President of the Instituto de Pesquisa Economica Aplicada (IPEA) of Brazil from 2007-2012 and was President of the Fundacao Perseu Abramo of the PT from 2012-2020.

Cecilia Senen Gonzalez:

Dr Senen Gonzalez has a PhD in Social Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana of Mexico. She is a Principal Investigator with the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). She is a Professor of Labor Relations at the Social Sciences School, Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).

Laura Carla Moisa Elicabide

Dr. Moisa is an Associate Professor of Economics at the School of Social and Economic Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Medellin. She has a PhD in Labor and Social Economics from UNICAMP, and a Masters in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She was Co-director of the Latin American Journal of Labor Studies from 2018-2020.
