For seven and a half years, folks in Berkeley/Oakland/Richmond areas have been represented in the California Senate by Nancy Skinner, a strong champion for good housing laws. She's reaching the end of her two-term limit, and we want to make sure the next Senator continues to support pro-housing policies!

East Bay YIMBY, East Bay for Everyone, Greenbelt Alliance, and Housing Action Coalition are hosting a series of events to meet the candidates for California Senate District 7, starting with a happy hour on Thursday, July 27th. (We're also planning another candidate happy hour in August and a public forum with candidates in September. Stay tuned for more info on these events!)
