AFTER PARTY! Sort of…

March 11th is also the launch of the ACLU’s new platform PeoplePower.org. There are “Resistance Training” events being held all over the country the same day as our meeting. Suzy from our Huddle has graciously offered to host this one hour training session at her home, which is right by the library!

After our Huddle meeting we will have a brief break so people can grab a quick lunch and then we’ll head over to the house (address will be released at the meeting). We need to be at her house by 1:30 PM and then the training broadcast will be from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

We hope you can make it!

More about HB Huddle...

We are a North Orange County group of concerned citizens and we stand in solidarity for the protection of human rights, health, the environment and working families. We are dedicated to direct action in our local community.

Our first meeting had over 80 participants. We spent part of the meeting together, working to identify five key areas our group would like address.

At our next meeting, we will spend time further discussing these key areas and pulling together action plans and next steps.

The areas we identified are:

1) Local Elections: Working with our local reps and engaging community members in our districts

2) The Affordable Care Act

3) Women's Rights and Reproductive Rights

4) #NoBanNoWall: Immigration, Refugees and Boarders

5) The Environment

We've only just begun...but please check-out our last meeting's minutes to see what we are working on.
